This is a simple topic for the beginners who do not know on how to dress up your post in the forum. This is not for those who knows already. Thus don't laugh at this tutorial and me
I'm gonna write a short and simple tutorials on how to quote a speech, coding, how to post a link to any topic or even a web site, hosting your images and post it in the forum. Now let's take a look at this picture:



In this picture, I put six numbers on the buttons from 1 to 4 and I will explain on each of these buttons respectively. To help in explaining these tags, I will use the parenthesis sign ( ) instead of the square bracket sign [ ] which are used as the real tag during the time you edit your message.


1. How to quote a whole of a person's speech or just a part:

Method 1:Just a click on a quote button of any member post it will bring you to the editor mode with two tags (open & close tag) around the person's speech.

Method 2:Say you forgot to click the quote button, but the reply. Then scroll down far enough when you are in the editor then you'll see recent posts by other members. Just copy any post you want to quote, and paste it in your editor. Once you paste, select those texts then click on the button no. 1. This time you will see the quote tags around the text, then edit the tag by putting equal mark, the quotation mark, and the name of poster...Simply edit to make it the same method 1.

Note: You can quote just a part of the speech, by deleting part of a person's speech while keeping other format the same.

2. How to code:

The purpose of Code tag is to explicit the information which are put inside it. Thus make us easier to see and eye-catching . To code the text, select the text you want to code then click on the code button (button no.2)

3. How to post an image:

To post an image somewhere on a site, blog, forum...you will need an imagehost to keep your images. It's like a house to store your images So I'll just take this site <www.picoodle.com> as our example. Once you open this site, you will see this picture:



Now click on Browse button, Select the picture you want to upload, Click on Upload it button. Once your image is uploaded, you will see this picture:



So click the link inside the red rectangular box, Copy it. Now move back to your editor, Click on button no. 3, Paste the link, Click Ok.

4. How to post a link:

Click on the button no. 4, you will see two list boxes. One is box that you will write or paste any URL you want to post, and the other one is the label that you are going to give to your URL. Now let's take an example I want to put a link of our forum portal in this topic, by putting its label like this "Welcome to Mig33official Community". So when everyone click on it, it will bring him to the our portal page.

In the URL box let's write like this: https://mig33official.forumotion.com/portal.htm
In the Label box: Welcome to Mig33official Community

Here is the code that would appear in your editor mode:

Here is the message that would appear when you post your message:

Welcome to Mig33official Community


So when we click on the word, it will bring us to our portal page.
